Meet Amanda and Andrew! This sweet Australian couple had a romantic wedding at a private estate in Lahaina called Sunrise of the Heavens. They met as teenagers while working at a local department store. Their friendship progressed into romance following a "tickle fight" at a party, many years ago. After 8 years of dating, Andrew proposed to Amanda. They had visited Maui in 2009 and fallen in love with the island, making it an obvious destination location for their wedding. A great group of their family and friends flew over to celebrate their wedding.Andrew and Amanda are proof that opposites truly do attract. Andrew is the mad scientist and Amanda is the creative designer, but together they are a force to be reckoned with, and as they said in their vows, they will love each other to "infinity and beyond..."All the details were hand-picked carefully by the two of them, which made their day even more special. The bouquets and boutineers were made of vintage buttons by Lily Bud. Amanda decided to forgo a white dress for this modern but elegant Emoda Couture gown. The sunset, without exaggeration, was the most spectacular that I've witnessed on Maui since I've lived here.The two of them are spending their honeymoon traveling on the Mainland.
