Bringing the 50's back!

One of the creative aspects of photography I enjoy is teaming up with highly talented friends, such as Jessica Waite. Jessica is one of Maui's most highly respected makeup artists. She came up with the idea of doing a stylized shoot around these cute 50's vintage dresses that she happened upon at a rummage sale. Combined with 60's inspired makeup and large exaggerated hair, these were the concepts behind this shoot of two fun-loving, mischievous friends who find themselves off Maui's beaten path. This shoot was styled with a nod to "Whimsy Pop Art Culture" - in contrast with the historical industrial remnants of the Pu'une'ne Sugar Mill.
