Sunrise proposal on the volcano

Bundled up in thick layers of clothing more appropriate for the arctic than tropical Maui, Jessica and I drove up early this morning (and by early I mean 4am, leaving husband and dog soundly sleeping) to the top of Haleakala, the 10,000 ft volcano which overlooks our island.The reason for the trek was simple: Chris was going to surprise his girlfriend Quyen with a dawn proposal on the summit of the volcano. As the new day's sun cast fresh rays on the scene, Chris dropped to one knee and asked her to marry him.She said yes.Chris didn't just stop at the proposal; he'd secretly gone shipping for an outfit for her so they could have some photos together. I have to say, I think he did an excellent job picking out her sexy BCBG dress, jewelry and shoes. Nicely done!
