An exquisite Olowalu wedding: Annie + Chris
When I first met Annie, I knew she was going to be an absolute joy to work with. She's the type of girl who loves her friends and family to pieces and has no qualms about being totally frank and honest, in a way only a sister can be. Chris and Annie met on the north shore of Oahu. Chris (aka: Captain Chris) loves the ocean and fishing on his boat. He actually caught a huge Mahi Mahi the day before the wedding (see the photo below). He has such love and adoration for Annie that you can see it from a mile away.It was a huge privilege to be a part of this gorgeous wedding at Annie's parents house in Olowalu on the west side of Maui. They incorporated so many personal touches, like anchoring a boat right off shore, and bringing in their favorite bluegrass string quartet Brown Chicken Brown Cow to play. Before the reception, all of the guests gathered around in a circle for a blessing, and later on Annie surprised Chris with a hula dance, which was by far one of the most beautiful (and sexy!) hulas I've ever witnessed. Annie's Dad gave a heartfelt speech during the reception, and now every time I see a photo of Annie I can't help but think of her nickname: 'Fire Ant.'A huge congratulations to Annie and Chris! I couldn't be happier for the two of you.Wedding coordinator: Lori Lawrence of Tropical Maui WeddingsCatering: Cafe O'Lei CateringCocktail Catering: Garnish EventsLighting: Epic LightingFlorist: Bella Grace Flowers Wedding and Event DesignWedding Videographer: Wangdu Hovey of Wedding Movies MauiPhoto booth: Aloha BoothDJ: Randy of AcebeatsMusicians: Brown Chicken Brown CowGuitarist: Jamie LawrenceWedding Cake: Teresa ShurillaHair & Make Up Artist: Chrissy Swink Thank you to Ashley Camper for assisting me on this wedding!
