Horsing Around ~ Four Seasons Lanai wedding

For those of you who didn't know, Maui has two small neighboring islands: Molokai and Lanai. The first is known for its yummy island-grazed beef, towering 2000 foot high sea cliffs (highest in the world!) and for housing a leper colony. The island of Lanai, which used to be owned entirely by Dole corporation to grow pineapples, has two world-class golf courses and two amazingly lovely Four Seasons hotels. It was at one of those Four Seasons, the Lodge at Koele, where Gina and Brian had their small, intimate wedding. There were so many wonderful, yet random occurrences during the ceremony. A wild turkey wandered over and started grazing in the middle of her path as she was walking down the aisle. There were also some curious horses with an affinity for her gorgeous wedding bouquet. One of the horses literally starting munching on the flowers from her bouquet. While most couples might have been upset by this, Gina and Brian couldn't help but laugh about it – they are such a fun-loving couple!During the shoot, we drove golf carts, petted horses and finally made it down to the picturesque Manele Bay in time for sunset.Congratulations, Gina & Brian!P.S. Gina, I am still convinced you are a horse whisperer.Wedding bouquet: Lois Hiranaga Floral DesignHair & Makeup: Andrea Duarte of A Pampered Bride MauiLanai_Wedding 1Lanai_Wedding 4Lanai_Wedding 3Lanai_Wedding 2Lanai_Wedding 5Lanai_Wedding 6Lanai_Wedding 7Lanai_Wedding 8Lanai_Wedding 9Lanai_Wedding 10Lanai_Wedding 12Lanai_Wedding 13Lanai_Wedding 11Lanai_Wedding 14Lanai_Wedding 15Lanai_Wedding 16Lanai_Wedding 17Lanai_Wedding 18
